Background & Credentials
Dr. Elizabeth Large earned a degree in Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) from Southwest College in Tempe, Arizona, a four-year, accredited naturopathic medical school. She is licensed, board certified naturopathic physician. Prior to her years of experience as a practicing naturopathic physician, Elizabeth worked in the mental health field as a counselor to severely emotionally disturbed adolescents and adults, including crisis care.  Early in her medical career, Dr. Large worked at Recovery Systems Clinic with Julia Ross, treating mood disorders, addiction, eating disorders and stress-induced illness.  Elizabeth also draws from her years of experience with hypnotherapy, meditation, shamanism, yoga, intuitional training and mind/body medicine. Elizabeth has many years of experience working to help people achieve their health goals, physically and emotionally.  In 2011, Elizabeth completed a Lyme fellowship and internship with Dr. Wayne Anderson, an expert in infectious disease and has continued working with Dr. Anderson at Gordon Medical Associates treating chronic illness and infectious disease.  She specializes in the treatment of Lyme, chronic infections, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, toxicity, “highly sensitive people” and digestive repair  as an approach to chronic illness.  Elizabeth continues to work with Dr. Tara Levy in Lafayette as well as at Gordon Medical Associates in Santa Rosa.
